CANTON — The Fostering Futures of St. Lawrence County Therapeutic Foster Care Program, an affiliate of the Children’s Home of Jefferson County, will host a foster parenting informational session Thursday, Jan. 4, at the human services center, 80 State Highway 310, second floor conference room.
The session will begin at 6 p.m.
Anyone interested in learning more about foster parenting, adoption, respite services and the Fostering Futures of St. Lawrence County Therapeutic Foster Care Program is welcome and encouraged to attend.
The informal, casual session will offer opportunities to ask questions and speak with the Foster Care Program staff.
Light refreshments will be served.
Foster parenting training classes will begin in Canton Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, and continue for ten weeks thereafter.
The Fostering Futures of St. Lawrence County Therapeutic Foster Care Program provides training to all foster parents.
