OGDENSBURG -- The Friends of the Ogdensburg Public Library would like to invite the public to help kick off “National Library Week – Libraries Lead” April 8-14 with its annual spring book sale.
The sale will be held at the library auditorium beginning Thursday, April 5 at 5 p.m.
The sale will run until Saturday, April 14 during the library’s open hours. Library “Friends Member” will get half off purchases on April 5.
To join the “Friends” call the library at 315-393-4325.
The library will host the following events: Monday, April 9, rock painting, 4 p.m.; Wednesday, April 11, social hour and open house, 2 p.m.; Thursday, April 12, adult craft, 2 p.m.; and Friday, April 13, toddler craft hour, 11 a.m.
There will be coloring contests for all ages during the week.
Contest entries will be due April 12, by 5 p.m. and judged on April 13 at 3 p.m.
Prizes will be awarded in several age groups.
