CANTON -- An upcoming workshop entitled the Eco-Friendly Home Make-n-Take is one of a set of three workshops planned by the Local Living Venture. Eco-Friendly home will be held Wednesday, Sept. 19 from 6-8 p.m.

This series of hands-on workshops will share tips and techniques for natural cleaning and body care to keep your family healthy -- and save some money as well.

Attendees will leave with samples of a multi-purpose cleaner and a body butter, as well as the knowledge of how to make them at home themselves.

Presenter Jenna Decker teaches introductory essential oil (EO) classes and has attended several training sessions on essential oils in recent years. She offers online, community and in-home essential oil education classes.

A suggested donation to attend is requested: $27 for general public, $49 for two people, and $15 per student. Partial scholarships (less material costs) are available upon request.

Future workshop themes (one per month) include Kids, Pets and Toxin Free Living in October and Toxin Free Gift Giving in November.

Registration is requested for each of the events. Email LocalLivingVenture@gmail.com or call 315-347-4223. Email confirmation will be sent to all registrants within 24-48 hours.

Workshops will all be held at the E.J. Noble Medical Bldg Community Room in Canton, a wheelchair accessible building.
