WATERTOWN -- The 2018 concert series presented by the Disabled Persons Action Organization and Watertown Savings Bank will get underway Saturday, Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. at the Fairgrounds Arena with the country duo LOCASH.

LOCASH, formerly known as LoCash Cowboys, is an American country duo consisting of vocalists Chris Lucas and Preston Brust, natives of Baltimore, Maryland and Kokomo, Indiana, respectively. They have released one album each for Average Joes Entertainment and Reviver Records, and have charted seven singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay chart.

Their highest-charting single is "I Know Somebody", which topped the Billboard Country Airplay chart in 2016. In addition to their own material, the members of LoCash co-wrote Keith Urban's number-one single "You Gonna Fly" and Tim McGraw's "Truck Yeah."

Country music entertainer Cassadee Pope is the opening act for LOCASH.

The singer’s powerhouse voice, inimitable presence and endless charm transformed her into a force of nature beloved by millions worldwide, said a DPAO press release.

Following her victory on Season 3 of NBC’s The Voice, her 2013 full-length debut, Frame By Frame, bowed at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart and Top 10 on the Billboard 200 all-genre chart.

Its lead single “Wasting All These Tears” not only notched an RIAA platinum certification, but it also achieved “Breakthrough Video of the Year” at the CMT Music Awards in 2014.

Additionally, she would receive nominations at the American Country Awards and People’s Choice Awards, to name a few.

During 2016, she also teamed with Chris Young for the No. 1 hit “Think Of You” and garnered a 2017 GRAMMY nod in the category of Best CountryDuo/Group Performance.

Along the way, she toured with everybody from Tim McGraw and Dierks Bentley to Young and Rascall Flatts, as well as making fiery appearances at Stagecoach and the UK’s C2C: Country to Country.

Tickets are on sale now for all four shows in the series.

Other scheduled performances include:

• Country music royals The Oak Ridge Boys on Tuesday, Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. at the Fairgrounds Arena;

• Gary Puckett, on Friday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. at the Bonnie Castle Resort in Alex Bay; and

• Metal music smiths Seether on Saturday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Cerow Recreation Center, Clayton.
