CANTON -- Lynn and Bill Fox, at the MacAllister House, will host a "Dîner en Blanc" on Wednesday, Sept. 5, at 6 p.m.
Dîner en Blanc is an event where guests come dressed in white, and eat dinner and drink wine, by special invitation.
Event organizers in an announcement claim this is the first event of its kind in the North Country. There will be "upscale" hors d’hoeuvres and cocktails as well as live entertainment, the announcement says.
Proceeds benefit the Frederic Remington Art Museum.
The MacAllister House is at 54 E. Main St., Canton.
Cost is $50 per person. For reservations call 315-393-2425.
