DEKALB JUNCTION -- Amvets Post 11 has scheduled the following events in January:
• Every Wednesday there will be a ladies auxiliary lunch and dinner special from 11 a.m.-7 p.m.;
• Every Friday night will be Karaoke with Tammy Joe from 7-11 p.m.;
• Saturday, Jan. 6, music and dancing with Savage Country from 8 p.m.-midnight, featuring Pete Chase on lead guitar with Skip back on bass;
• Friday, Jan. 12, the second Friday fish fry 4-7 p.m.;
• Saturday, Jan. 13, music and dancing with Pure Country from 8 p.m.-midnight;
• Saturday, Jan. 20, music and dancing with New Buckskins from 8 p.m.-midnight;
• Saturday, Jan. 27, music and dancing with The Country Who Band from Adams Center.
The post’s regular Thursday night jam will be on hiatus until Thursday, Feb. 1.
