DEKALB JUNCTION – The DeKalb Junction 15th annual Community Lawn Sale sponsored by the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce will be held on Saturday, June 4 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The chamber is offering free face painting and balloons. The DeKalb Junction Volunteer Fire Department is having a chicken and pork barbeque beginning at 2.
They are also sponsoring a co-ed volleyball tournament--contact Stacey Denesha, 347-5388. The department will also have spaces to rent for $10 in the fire hall to set up a yard sale--contact Larry Denesha, 854-2733.
The Grad Night 2011 Committee will have a concession stand for refreshments.
The DeKalb Hermon Senior Citizen Club will be having a bake sale and rummage sale at Carvel’s Hardware Store at 8 a.m. The HDCS CARES will be having a sweet walk from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., proceeds to go to a scholarship for seniors and books for the kindergarten.
Terry McKendree will be doing chain saw carvings from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in front of Sprinkles.
Space is available for free, adjacent to the post office in DeKalb Junction to set up a table, contact Sophie Chilton 347-3536.
