POTSDAM – The Public Library is staging a Deep Dive Discussions: Entrepreneurship program featuring several upcoming workshops.
Start or Grow a Business with SBDC is slated for Wednesday, Feb. 21, from noon-1 p.m. in the multi-purpose room in the Cleveland Center, with Jennifer McCluskey from the Small Business Development Corp at SUNY Canton. RSVP by email at mmckenna@potsdamlibrary.org.
Internet Marketing Workshop will be held Friday, Feb. 23, from noon-2 p.m. in the multi-purpose room and will feature a crash course in internet marketing for your business. RSVP: www.breakingeveninc.com/potsdam.
Finally the series will feature a roundtable discussion will be held Monday, Feb. 26, at 1 p.m. in the village board room. Lauren Rosenthal from North Country Public Radio will lead the discussion with Jeremy and Allison Carney, owners of Brick & Mortar Music; Matt Draper from Clarkson’s Shipley Center for Innovation; Fred Hanss, Village of Potsdam Economic Development and Planning Director; Nicole Ouellette, owner of Break Even Inc.; Maggie McKenna, director of What a Raquette Music and Dance; and Will Trithart, owner of Big Spoon Kitchen. They will discuss what it is like to be an entrepreneur and what kinds of resources are available in the North Country. All are welcome to join this recorded discussion.
