The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation will hold the examination Friday, Aug. 19 for those interested in obtaining a license to use leashed tracking dogs to find wounded or injured big game animals.
The test will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the DEC office in Watertown.
The deadline to register is Aug. 12.
