POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music will present a free concert featuring guest artist Barbara Paver, soprano, on Wednesday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m., in the Sara M. Snell Music Theater.
Paver will perform alongside Kirk Severtson, piano.
The performance will begin with works by Francesca Caccini and Giacomo Carissimi.
Paver will also present "Six Mélodies du 'Livre pour Toi,'" by Gustave Ferrari, followed by four lieder by Richard Strauss.
The recital will conclude with Lee Hoiby's "Three Ages of Woman," which sets three poems by Elizabeth Bishop to music.
