POTSDAM -- Community Performance Series will present the coming of age dance-play "Let's Talk About It" at the SUNY Potsdam Performing Arts Center on Friday, Nov. 18 and Saturday, Nov. 19.
Friday will feature two school performances at 9:30 a.m. and noon, while Saturday's family performance will be at 3 p.m.
The performance incorporates the vocabulary of dance, ancient world folklore, real-life stories and video interviews of ordinary teens.
This multimedia presentation develops the teen story in an age of video webcast, instant messaging, and the constant need for media notoriety while holding onto the conflicts, thoughts, and dreams that have inflicted teens throughout centuries.
A discussion between the audience members and performers will follow each performance.
Student tickets are $5, adult tickets are $10 and one free chaperone per ten students will be admitted.
