GOUVERNEUR – The Health and Hope Mission Clinic will host a “Cow Plop” fundraiser during the Gouverneur Pumpkin Festival Sept. 24 and 25.
Money will be raised by selling tickets to people who will choose a numbered grid section of a field that will be the scene of the “plop.” A cow will be released into the field on Sept. 25, and the person who picks the parcel where most of her “business” lands will win $500, and the holders of tickets to the four immediately bordering sections will receive $50.
Tickets are $10 each and can be obtained at the Pumpkin Fest, by calling Joan Eacker at 315-287-0176, or at christhealthcareminisytry.org.
The Health and Hope Mission Clinic, in a mini-mall on Main Street, is a free medical clinic supported by Christ health Care Ministry. It is open to uninsured adults at least 18 years old.
For appointments, call 287-1406.
