CANTON -- Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County, 2043B St. Rt. 68, will offer landscape and turf pesticide training Wednesday, Feb. 19 from 4:15 to 6:45 p.m.
The program is designed to help landscapers keep turf healthy throughout the growing season.
Kyle Wickings of Cornell’s department of entomology and educators Chuck Schmitt and Dave Chinery will share current research on organic matter and pests, as well as reduced-risk iron herbicides.
Participants will earn NYSDEC credits in categories 3a, 3b, 10 and 25, and GCSAA points have been applied for the program.
