CANTON – The Cornell Cooperative Extension, 2043B St. Hwy. 68, will host hands-on learning experiences for youth during “Maple Madness” tours from March 11 through April 11.

Tours will be given on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and cost $2 per person. Groups will walk to the sugar bush and observe tapping methods, history, math, science and economics behind the maple industry.

Tours include a visit to the sugar shack and if available, participants can see the evaporation process in person and sample syrup.
