POTSDAM -- The Crane School of Music will present a free concert dedicated to music composed by women 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 20 in Snell Music Theater at SUNY Potsdam.
Featured will be variety of compositions from the 19th and 20th centuries for singers and instrumentalists. In addition to solo songs written by Americans Amy Beach and Libby Larsen, choral music will be sung by the Phoenix Club, a women's chorus originally founded by Julia Etta Crane in 1894.
The public is invited .
