STAR LAKE – A community health and wellness fair will be held Sunday, June 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Clifton-Fine Central School.

The event is hosted by the Wilderness HealthCare Foundation’s Wellness Committee. More than 15 local and regional organizations will be on site sharing information and resources with local residents as well as answering important health and wellness questions.

This is free, all-ages event covering pre-natal to senior wellness. Clifton-Fine Hospital and Samaritan Medical Center staff will be on-hand to provide free blood-pressure screenings, strength and balance tests, hand-washing demos, cancer screening information and more.

Free continental breakfast, giveaways, handouts and door prizes will be available to attendees. Bring children along for free kids crafts and activities, face painting and a Teddy Bear Clinic.

Bring a doll or stuffed animal for a “check-up” or take home a free teddy bear donated by St. Lawrence County Hockey Association.

Clifton-Fine PTO will debut a new school greenhouse and will be working on their schoolyard garden. They will also raffle off a kids bicycle and helmet; tickets available only at the fair.
