COLTON -- The Colton Fire Department Corporation has an open house from noon until 4 p.m. April 9 at the station, 89 Riverside Dr.
The fire department is taking part in the Recruit New York program in partnership with FASNY. The open house gives the public a chance to learn more about the volunteer fire service in our community.
Members answer questions about what the training requirements are to become fire or EMS personnel, fire police and associate members.
There is also a program for teens under the age of 18.
