COLTON -- On Aug. 19, Colton United Methodist Church will host their old fashioned picnic.
It will be at 11 Church St.
There will be an outdoor worship service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Brooke Newell. Guitar accompaniment will be played by Kerry Newell.
The picnic follows with food and drinks. There will be sack races, tug-of-war, a scavenger hunt, duck pond, wet sponge races and a water balloon toss. Dawn Atkinson will play her music and Sarah Russell will be back to paint faces. New this year will be a penny pitching booth and a corn hole tournament. There is no charge and everyone is welcome.
