OGDENSBURG -- To increase public awareness of the signs of skin cancer and to encourage behaviors to protect skin damage, Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center is providing a county-wide free skin cancer screening at its area health centers on Thursday, May 26 from 1-4 p.m.
Healthcare providers will be on hand to examine you. You can show as little or as much as you feel comfortable showing.
The providers will discuss the results with you during the screening and if need be, recommend follow up.
It should only take 15 to 20 minutes of your time.
Skin cancer is preventable and curable if detected early.
