POTSDAM -- Fans and friends of Clarkson University Hockey are invited to join Clarkson President Tony Collins and Athletic Director Steve Yianoukos to welcome new Golden Knights Men's Ice Hockey Coach Casey Jones at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, in the Cheel Campus Center Barben Rooms.
Jones will be accompanied by his wife, Kimberlee, and their two children, Gabrielle and Bryan.
ECAC Hockey Commissioner Steve Hagwell will also be participating in the welcome activities.
The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
Clarkson named Jones to lead the Golden Knights Men's Ice Hockey Team on Friday, after an extensive national search. Jones, associate head coach and an alumnus of the men's hockey program at Cornell University, served as an assistant coach at Clarkson in the early 1990s.
