HEUVELTON -- The Heuvelton AMVETS Post 1997, 107 State St., will host a full slate of events throughout the month of September. The schedule is as follows:
Friday, Sept. 2; Dance featuring The New Buckskins, 7 to 11 p.m.; no cover, hot dogs, hamburgers, public welcome.
Sunday, Sept. 4; Chicken Barbecue, 2 p.m.; $9 adults, $5 children, eat in or takeout; in town delivery available until 1 p.m. at 344-2364.
Sunday, Sept. 11; Sons of AMVETS meeting at 1 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 12; AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 14; AMVETS meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 18; Breakfast, 8 to 11 a.m.; $6 adults, $4.50 for children 12 and under; Dance featuring Pure Country, 1 to 5 p.m.; no cover, hot dogs, hamburgers, public welcome.
Sunday, Sept. 25; Breakfast, 8 to 11 a.m.; $6 adults, $4.50 for children 12 and under.
