CANTON -- The Canton Recreation Department is hosting pickle ball games at the Priest Field tennis courts starting June 3. Games will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.
The sport is played mainly in retirement communities. Players use a paddle and wiffleball on an area about the size of a tennis court. There isn't a lot of running.
Participants should wear a tennis-type shoe. Equipment and instruction will be provided each night.
Go to www.usapa.org for the game's rules.
