POTSDAM — Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s Fibromyalgia Support Group will meet Tuesday, Feb. 6, noon-1 p.m., 59 Main St., Clarkson Hall, Potsdam.

The topic will be a continuation of January's discussion about how to make positive changes in our lives.

“Those dealing with a chronic illness such as fibromyalgia may often find it difficult to make healthy lifestyle choices or have a more positive mental outlook, but these are important efforts toward creating happiness in our lives,” says facilitator Dr. Leslie Russek, PT, DPT, PhD, OCS.

The discussion will focus on Tal Ben-Shahar's book “Even Happier,” which provides 52 suggestions for creating daily happiness.

All people with chronic illness, as well their family and friends, are welcome to participate.

Dr. Leslie Russek specializes in chronic pain management at Canton-Potsdam Hospital and is an Associate Professor in Clarkson University’s Physical Therapy Department. Those requiring further information should contact Dr. Leslie Russek at lrussek@clarkson.edu.
