POTSDAM —Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s Fibromyalgia Support Group will meet Tuesday, March 6, from noon-1 p.m., 59 Main St., Clarkson Hall, Potsdam.
This month’s discussion will focus on the key elements of Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE), and what it means with respect to pain management.
"Research shows that when people understand how pain works, they have less pain and are able to do more in their lives,” explains Dr. Leslie Russek, group facilitator.
Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE) is intended for everyone with chronic pain.
Dr. Russek specializes in chronic pain management at Canton-Potsdam Hospital and is an Associate Professor in Clarkson University’s Physical Therapy Department.
All are welcome to attend.
