CANTON -- The Canton Hoopsters youth basketball organization will hold signups for the upcoming season outside of the gymnasium at Hugh C. Williams High School from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21 and from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24.
The season is open to children in first through sixth grades and will begin on Saturday, Oct. 22.
Age groups are divided into three divisions; grades 1-2, 3-4 and 5-6.
The first and second grade program runs from 8 to 9 a.m. on Saturday mornings.
The third and fourth grade program meets on Saturday mornings and Wednesdays evenings and features coed teams.
The fifth and sixth grade program also meets on Saturdays and Wednesdays and is divided into boys and girls teams.
All Hoopsters programs are held in the high school gym.
