CANTON -- The deadline to register for the Canton Free Library's summer reading program is June 27.
This year's theme is "Fizz Boom Read."
The four-week program starts the second week of July.
• 18-to-35-month-old children with a caregiver meet Thursdays at 10 a.m.
• 3- and 4-year-olds with a caregiver meet Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
• 5- and 6-year-olds meet Tuesdays at 1 p.m.
• 7- and 8-year-olds meet on Tuesdays at 3 p.m.
• 9- to 12-year-olds meet on Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m.
Thursdays at 2 p.m. are all-ages events. They include a puppet show, "Books On The Beach" at Taylor Park, Nashville-based musical act the Sock Rockerz and a pet show.
Registration is required, space is limited.
