Canton Free Library to host talk on impact of censorship on art of storytelling Sept. 28

CANTON – In celebration of the American Library Association’s Banned Books Week, Sept. 25 – Oct. 1, the Canton Free Library will host Frank Palumbo, as he offers a look at the impact of censorship on a very important piece of American culture, the art of storytelling.

The multimedia workshop will take place Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 6 p.m. in the library’s Paige Room.

Attendees will learn about the significance of storytelling throughout history and its continued relevance in the 21st Century, watch a short video, and participate in an open discussion.

This event is free and appropriate for adults and high school students.
