CANTON -- The Canton Chamber of Commerce’s eighth annual Community Sale, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 9 in the pavilion on outer Lincoln Street, is expanding to include the Canton Rotary chicken barbecue, the Canton Police Department’s bike auction at 1 p.m., and a Townwide Sale.
“It's as easy as calling the Canton Chamber office, 386-8255, and leaving your address to be put on the map” at no charge, said chamber executive director Sally Hill.
Maps will be available in the Municipal Building and the kiosk out front.
Vendor spaces at the pavilion are $20 for a 15-by-15-foot space. People will be able to drive in to unload and not to worry about any rain.
The snack bar at the pavilion will be open for hot dogs and hamburgers while people wait for the chicken barbecue.
Info, space registration: chamber office at 386-8255.
