CANTON – Nature Up North is hosting the workshop “Campfire Series: Night Navigation” at Wachtmeister Field Station on Thursday, July 5 from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
Attendees will discover firsthand what adaptations nighttime animals have acquired in order to survive after nightfall.
Those attending should wear or bring long sleeves, and be prepared for a short (15-30 minute) walk on the Kip trail before dark. Hikers will head back to the campfire afterwards to continue exploring nocturnal adaptations.
