CANTON -- On Saturday, April 2, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., basketmaker Mick Jarvis of Chateaugay will offer a packbasket making workshop at The TAUNY Center.
Participants will build their own full-sized packbaskets; all materials will be provided for a 17" or 21" reed basket with straps.
The workshop cost is $100 for TAUNY members and $125 for non-members for the larger basket, $85 for members, $110 for non-members to build the smaller basket.
