HERMON – A benefit for severely injured PFC Brian Pomerville of Russell will be held Saturday, Sept. 24 beginning at 2 p.m. at the Skunk’s Nest.
On July 6, Brian stepped on an IED in Kandahar, Afghanistan where he was deployed. Brian is a double amputee with other severe injuries, and he has a long, hard road ahead of him at Walter Reed Hospital in Bethesda, Md.
Money raised will go directly to help Brian and his family
There will be entertainment, a benefit auction at 4 p.m., a 50/50 raffle and food provided by Whinee Weiners.
Bands who will be performing at the event include Sweet Revenge, 4Play, DragnFly and Divided Roads.
