POTSDAM - There will be a "Beekeeping for Bee-ginners" workshop held Saturday, Dec. 9, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Potsdam Town Hall, 18 Elm St. For those considering keeping bees next spring, this will be helpful information about how to get started. Topics to be covered include beekeeping resources, terminology, equipment and gear, biology, pests, diseases and how to start a hive.
The cost is $22 for adults, with a discount to $40 for a couple, and $10 for students. Partial scholarship is available upon request.
