POTSDAM -- North Country Public Radio music host and singer/guitarist Barb Heller along with fiddler Gretchen Koehler will be joined by poet Dale Hobson for an afternoon concert of wintry words and warm music at First Presbyterian Church, 42 Elm St., on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 2 p.m.
All proceeds will benefit the MINC Emergency Fund.
The Ministry in the North Country (MINC) Emergency Fund gives emergency help to low to moderate income households, providing heating assistance, utility shut-off assistance, and help with prescriptions or other urgent needs.
The fund often runs low at this time of year as families exhaust their own resources and other sources of aid. MINC may be the only alternative for families who otherwise fall through the holes in the social safety net.
Suggested donation at the show is $10 or more.
