CANTON -- St. Lawrence University will host speaker, author and advocate Shannon Moroney at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 2 in Eben Holden as part of the University’s Contemporary Issues Forum lecture series.
Her presentation, “Through the Glass: One Woman’s Pursuit of Justice, Forgiveness, and Healing,” will lead the audience through her ordeal to inspire triumph over individual and community tragedy.
In 2005, Moroney’s life was shattered by violent crimes and the arrest of her newly-wed husband.
Despite the trauma in her life and community, Moroney recreated a positive future.
