COLTON -- Area artists can have their work shown in the Friends of the Colton Library's sixth Community Art Show in August.
The opening reception will be Aug. 6 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Work is to be submitted on July 31 and Aug. 1. Entry forms must be picked up at the library.
All traditional art forms suitable for display in a public library will be accepted. This includes painting, drawing, photography, original prints and small sculpture.
All 2-D work must be matted or framed.
Limit two entries per artist.
Visitors can vote for their favorite, with the winning artist receiving the Visitors' Choice Award at the end of the show.
Works will be for sale with a 20-percent commission going to the library.
