NORFOLK – The annual Norfolk Halloween Festival will be held from Oct. 25-28 with costume races, trick or treats, carnival games and other Halloween fun.
The scheduled events are as follows.
Thursday, Oct. 25
6 p.m. kick off dinner at Norfolk fire department; naming of the festival king and queen; pre-sale tickets are $8 or $10 at door, on sale at Cafe 56.
Friday, Oct. 26
6 p.m. Halloween hunt in Norfolk park; kids will hunt for bags of Halloween candy.
9:00 Adult Halloween party at Coach tavern. Costume judging at 12 a.m. Sudden Impact will play from 9 p.m.-1 a.m.
Saturday, Oct. 27
8 a.m. 5k run/walk starting at arena; dress in Halloween costumes.
9 a.m.-3 p.m. vendors in park, kids' carnival games, face painting, pumpkin painting, photo booth, bounce house, Halloween movie, food vendors.
11 a.m. pie eating contest in the park.
1 p.m. parade starting at arena and going to West Main back to arena; following parade, wagon rides around town.
1-4 p.m. kids' pumpkin patch at Cart & Barrel.
4 p.m. volleyball at Coach Tavern.
5:30-7 p.m. Halloween rock-n-skate at arena.
6:30-8 p.m. Wine tasting at Bregg Winery.
8 p.m. double horror show, Norwood-Norfolk school.
Sunday, Oct. 28
8-11 a.m. closing breakfast at the fire station.
9 a.m. soap box derby.
11 a.m. pumpkin chuckin' contest.
