LOUISVILLE -- The annual Louisville Summer Bash will be June 20 to 22.
June 20 with start with an ice cream social and the Lion's Club duck race at 6 p.m. at the Louisville Volunteer fire station #1, at the corner of Thompson Ridge Road.
June 21 features an 11 a.m. parade, starting at the St. Lawrence Church on Willard Road, crossing the new bridge to the arena.
Afterward, there will be a chicken barbeque and games for kids at noon. At 1 p.m., there will be firematic drills and music from DJ Jimmy Edwards at 3 p.m. The day will cap off with a pork roast at 5 p.m. and fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
There will also be games of chance, a bounce house, a water slide, bed races, craft vendors, a cake contest, a beer tent and concession stand, a rock show, wood carving and an auction.
June 22 will start with an ecumenical church service at 9:15 a.m. at Louisville Comunity Church. At noon there will be a picnic at the community center. Hamburgers, hot dogs and paper goods will be provided, attendees should bring their own side dish.
All proceeds raised will benefit the Louisville Summer Bash Committee, community churches, the Lion's Club and local vendors.
