MASSENA – St. John’s Episcopal Church, 139 Main St, Massena, will hold their Annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 11, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The festival will feature a bake sale, crafts, Christmas decorations, a white elephant table, and a luncheon.

A wide variety of homemade baked goods will be available, including pies, cakes, cookies, breads, and candy.

Many treats will be featured, including apple pies, Amish friendship bread, and Magic Cookie Bars. There will also be many new and different goodies.

A selection of handcrafted items will be available, including Christmas decorations. There will also be a variety of “gently used, previously loved” Christmas decorations.

The popular Siwok crafts will be on display. These woodcrafts include hand carved birds and animals, nativity scenes, and crosses. They are made by the Wichi Indians in the rain forest of Northern Argentina, and are marketed by the South American Missionary Society.

There will also be a small selection of the popular lapel pin and bookmark sets.

The white elephant table promises to have a good selection of interesting items. Since one person’s trash is another person’s treasure, you may be able to find some irresistible items at a very good price.

The luncheon will be served from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. It includes homemade soup, sandwich, and beverage, all for $4.50.

Soup choices are: cream of broccoli, tomato macaroni, chicken & rice, or split pea with ham.

Sandwich choices are: egg & olive, chicken salad, or ham & cheese on rye.

For those with smaller appetites, just the soup or just the sandwich may be purchased for $2. A large cup of coffee, tea, or hot cider is $1.

PB & J with hot chocolate will be available for the kids.

The public is invited to attend this event. There is no admission charge.
