NORFOLK -- American Legion Riders of Post #925 sponsor a charity motorcycle ride July 9 to raise money for T.A.D.S.A.W (“Train A Dog, Save A Warrior”). T.A.D.S.A.W.’s mission is to train and provide medical service dogs for veterans.
Cost per rider is $15, additional passenger is $5, includes dinner; just the dinner is $10.
Registration will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Norfolk American Legion, at 2 E. High St., just off Route 56 . The ride will start at 11 a.m. sharp. It will cover about 130 miles, with stops for rest and refreshment along the way.
A ham and salt potatoes dinner will be held afterward, around 4:30 p.m., along with raffles and games. Everyone is welcome.
