AKWESASNE -- After having been postponed several times, Mohawk International Raceway, Frogtown Road, will try to start its 2014 season on May 30.
They are planning a 50-lap Memorial Cup event for the modifieds as part of the Frenchie’s “Chevy Runs Deep” Series as well as a regular show for sportsman, mod lites and bandits.
Intermission will feature an autograph session.
Those who attended last week should bring their ticket stub or wristband that was signed and dated by MIR staff.
For those without a rain check, general admission is $20 and kids under age 12 are $8. Pit passes are $30 with DIRTcar license and $35 without.
Pit gates open at 4:30 p.m., general admission opens at 5 p.m. Races start at 7:30 p.m.
