POTSDAM – Instructor Scott Ouderkirk will lead an advanced stained glass class at the St. Lawrence County Arts Council, Snell Hall, 41 Elm St., Sunday, May 20, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
The class will build upon the recent beginners’ class and allow more freedom for the student as far as design.
Students will be expected to handle more of each of the processes individually while hopefully focusing on whatever they felt was their weakest process. For many this will be a step toward creating projects without help at home.
At the end of the class, each student takes home a finished panel they created that day. Students don’t need to bring anything except a bag lunch.
For examples of Ouderkirk’s stained glass, visit www.glassgoat.com.
The class will cost $92, or $77 for members.
Adult students only.
Pre-registration is required.
