POTSDAM –AARP Chapter 2831 is hosting the following events.
A free, open-to-the community workshop “Social Security and the 5 Steps Toward Financial Security?” presented by Diane Wilcox, Social Security district manager, will be held May 9 from 3-5 p.m. at the Potsdam community room, 18 Elm St. No RSVP is required, however, seating is limited.
An AARP luncheon will be May 15 at 11:45 a.m. at The Club in Canton. Attendees will order from the menu and pay their own bill. “What do we need to know about organ donation?” will be presented by Mary Lou Robb, county clerk.
An AARP luncheon costing $12 will be held June 19 at 11:45 a.m. at West Potsdam Fire Hall. Chair Yoga will be presented by Ellie Beeler. Open to all abilities.
A free, open-to-the community workshop, “Taking the Scare Out of Medicare” presented by Nancy Green, HIICAP Coordinator, St. Lawrence County Office for the Aging, will be held June 21 from 1-3 p.m., in the Potsdam community room.
