NORWOOD – The 9th Annual Green and Gold Spirit Night is on Thursday, March 31, at 6:30 p.m. in the Norwood-Norfolk Elementary School Gym.

The fun and fundraising event, where the Green Team of seniors and freshmen and the Gold Team of juniors and sophomores compete, is sponsored by the Norwood-Norfolk Central School Spanish-French Club.

Admission is $2 pre-sale or $3 at the door. Children under 5 will be admitted free. There is also a $10 maximum for admission of immediate members of a family.

Teams will compete and points will be awarded to the winners of athletic events, to the team with the most fans in the gym, for the best posters, and the most participation in Spirit Week.

Fans can participate in the competition during intermission. Spanish-French Club members will conduct a chuck-a-puck contest, at $1 per puck. At the end of intermission, the team with the most “goals” gets extra points.

Foreign language students will have a concession stand and face painting available.

All proceeds go toward educational trips for Spanish-French Club members.
