GOUVERNEUR -- The 17th Gouverneur Breast Cancer Walk is set for Saturday, May 19 from the Gouverneur Village Park.
The one-mile non-competitive walk will help raise funds and awareness for the Gouverneur Breast Cancer Fund. All funds donated will be used to assist both men and women diagnosed with breast cancer or cancer that has metastasized from breast cancer during their treatment and recovery.
There will be hot coffee, donuts, tables with information, and entertainment in the park before the walk begins, and snacks, raffles, and a ceremony to honor all survivors at the end of the walk.
Special guest Ronald McDonald will be joining in the fun this year.

The major sponsors of the walk are the Community Health Center of the North Country in Canton, Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg, the Gouverneur Breast Cancer Fund, St. Lawrence Health System and Mort Backus & Son Chevrolet & Buick Car Dealerships in Ogdensburg.
