MASSENA -- WNTS television digital cable channel 1501 is now broadcasting on Potsdam, Canton, and Gouverneur cable systems.
WNTS has been broadcasting in Massena since November 2009. The station plans to add the Ogdensburg system in the near future and has tentative plans to add the Malone area this year.
In the next few weeks, the station intends to start an hour morning news show at 7 a.m. Their main programming will run from 3 to 7 p.m. daily. This is a reduction from their 12 hours of programming and will remain in effect until they can secure the staffing to handle the production load.
The station seeks video submissions from all around northern New York. They are also looking for volunteers to take video of local events.
They invite public input, comments, and suggestions. You may contact them at 764-9037 or info@wnts.tv.
