CANTON -- SUNY Canton reached an all-time enrollment record for the online Winterterm session Dec. 17 through Jan. 15.
“Our Winterterm session enrollment total is 1,322, which breaks our 2011 record of 1,311 enrollments,” said Molly A. Mott, dean of academic support services and instructional technologies. “The session’s popularity continues to grow, due in large part to the expansion of course offerings.”
Students were able to choose from more than 90 courses in business, finance, criminal justice, social science and other disciplines, which are accessible via computer anywhere.
Students from across New York State and the entire country can earn credits that allow them to catch up or get ahead.
The college has offered an entirely online Winterterm session since 2005, which consisted of 160 enrollments and 18 courses.
