POTSDAM -- St. Lawrence FCU made a donation of $750 to Helping Hands in Potsdam to help build a warehouse to store items needed to furnish households of those who are income-eligible residents of St. Lawrence County.
The warehouse will be named the Christian P. House Furniture Barn in memory of Christian House, son of Stephen and Laurie House.
Michael Maresca and his wife Barbara of Hannawa Falls are matching donations from county residents, up to $20,000.
