CANTON – Those hoping to attend the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner Thursday, Oct. 18 might wish to RSVP now, as tables for the event are filling up quickly.
Reservations are required for the event and may be made by calling 386-4000 or emailing Events Coordinator Jo Ann Roberts, jroberts@stlawrencecountychamber.org.
The cost is $45 per person or $430 for a corporate table for 10.
The evening includes a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and live and silent auctions, all at the Student Union Multi-Purpose Room on the SUNY Potsdam campus.
Items for the auction are being accepted now, too; contact Roberts.
The annual dinner includes the presentation of Business of the Year, Community Service, and Volunteer of the Year Awards. Nominations are being accepted for Business of the Year until Friday, Oct. 5.
Nominations should be sent to the County Chamber, 101 Main Street, Canton, NY, 13617, faxed to 379-0134 or submitted by email to Roberts. The entries should include the nominator’s name, business, address, phone and email, in addition to information about the business they are nominating, why they should be selected as Business of the Year, and contact info for that business.
