CANTON -- The Northern New York Regional Livestock Team of Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) on March 20 will bring its annual NNY Sheep & Goat Week road show to St. Lawrence County
The agenda includes panels of local producers, presentations by extension livestock specialist Betsy Hodge.from 1 - 4 p.m. Betsy Hodge will offer presentations on sheep and goat handling facilities and tips from simple to complex with photos and examples. How to select herd sires or replacement stock is also on the agenda.
At 7 p.m. at the Cornell Cooperative Extension St. Lawrence County Extension Learning Farm, 2043 State Rt. 68, a panel discuss will take place with Sandy von Allmen, Corey Hayes, Betsy Hodge, and others. Cost is $5/person

The event at Double-H Sheep Company includes a tour of the farm and its newly-constructed sheep handling system and bale grazing equipment.
Hodge and Corey Hayes will demonstrate the farm-built handling system and discuss how a proper system can save sheep and goat producers time and money.
