Price Chopper Supermarkets in the North Country are recalling Price Chopper BBQ Pulled Pork (cold), UPC number 20607800000, sold in the deli section.
Price Chopper has stores in Canton, Potsdam, Massena, Ogdensburg and Gouverneur.
The product contains known allergens wheat, milk and soy that were not listed on the ingredient label. The product is safe for consumption for those not allergic, according to a press release from the company.
The pulled pork has a sell-by date of up to and including October 2, 2014
Some customers who purchased the product have been alerted using Price Chopper’s purchase data and consumer phone numbers on file in connection with the company’s AdvantEdge (loyalty) card.
Customers in St. Lawrence County with the pulled pork should return it to their local Price Chopper for a full refund.
